IT Suite - Garths Resource Centre

The new IT suite at the Garths Resource Centre aims to make learning new IT skills a pleasant and rewarding experience.
To make the Suite comfortable, it is air conditioned with ergonomic call centre style desks and adjustable office chairs. We have 20 new P.C's equipped with Microsoft Office 2000 (Word, Excel, Access, Publisher & PowerPoint).
The courses held cover a wide range of subjects including Clait, RSA Word-processing and European Computer Driving Licence.

Air conditioned with modern call centre style desks ideal for teaching to groups

There is plenty of space to teach different groups at different levels

Nicas	Ideal for beginners. Qualifications can be gained in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, windows & other packages.
Clait	Covers spreadsheets, databases & word processing. An ideal introduction to office based applications.
RSA Word Processing	For beginners & advanced. Opportunities to gain qualifications from Level I through to Level III.
Desk Top Publishing	Suitable for beginners to intermediate level. Uses up to date packages. Qualifications can be gained.
ECDL	The European Computer Driving Licence® (or ECDL) is the European-wide qualification which enables people to demonstrate their competence in computer skills.

The IT suite is also available for use as a drop in facility this varys from week to week and you should check with the centre before coming down.
